We built our tools with UK players in mind: clear limits, quick access to support, and no pressure to play more than you intended. Here is exactly how they work.
Verywell is for players aged 18 and over, no exceptions. Age verification runs as part of account registration and may be re-checked before a withdrawal. If you're setting up an account for someone under 18, or you suspect a minor has access to your account, contact our support team straight away so we can secure it.
Every tool below is opt-in, adjustable by you, and sits inside your account settings. None of them require you to explain yourself to anyone, and none of them can be quietly switched off by a support agent on request. That's deliberate: limits only work if they're hard to unwind on a whim.
If you self-exclude with Verywell, we will close your account for the period you choose, stop sending you marketing emails and promotional texts, and decline any attempt to reopen the account before the period ends, including through a new registration using your details. We do not offer a way to bypass this once it's set, and we will not accept requests to shorten it under pressure or persuasion. If you need a UK-wide, multi-operator block rather than a single-site one, that's a separate step you can take independently of any individual casino account.
Gambling problems don't always look dramatic. Some common early signs: chasing losses with bigger stakes, spending more time or money than you'd planned, borrowing to fund play, feeling irritable when you try to cut back, or hiding your activity from people close to you. If any of that sounds familiar, that's a reasonable moment to try a deposit limit or a short timeout, not a reason to feel embarrassed.
These organisations are independent of Verywell, free to use, and confidential. They can talk you through your options, including tools that work across multiple gambling sites, not just ours.
Many of our players get paid weekly or monthly, so we'd rather you set a limit that matches your own pay date than one that resets on an arbitrary calendar day. A monthly cap set the day after payday, for instance, gives you a cleaner view of what's actually spare. If your circumstances change, whether that's a new job, a bill going up, or just a rough month, you can lower your limit at any time with immediate effect.
For the wider picture on how we operate, see About Verywell, our current offers on the Bonus page, and how deposits and withdrawals work on Payments. Ready to set your limits before you start? Head to Register.
You must be 18 or older to register or play at Verywell. We verify age as part of account setup and may ask for further checks before processing a withdrawal.
No. Lowering a limit is immediate, but raising a limit or ending a timeout or self-exclusion early is deliberately restricted, regardless of how the request is made. This protects the point of having the tool in the first place.
No, both are independent UK organisations. GamCare (0808 8020 133, https://www.gamcare.org.uk/) and BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org/) offer free, confidential advice and are not affiliated with any single gambling operator.
Yes. Once set, a timeout or self-exclusion applies to your account regardless of the device or app you try to log in from, including the Verywell mobile experience.
Contact our support team immediately so we can secure the account. Sharing login details with anyone, especially a minor, is against our terms and we'll act quickly once flagged.
